Straight answers about Kitch IQ, Rallywise and the Paddle Selector: what you get, what it costs, what happens if something goes wrong, and what happens to your data.
Kitch IQ: before you buy
What do I get for one match?
A written report on one match you filmed: where you stood on court, the patterns your video can support, and, when the match supports it, one thing to work on next. You can read a real sample report before you pay. What the analysis measures, and what it leaves out, is on How Kitch IQ works.
How much does it cost? Is it a subscription?
One match (Single report) is a one-time payment of $7.99. Nothing renews. If you film often, the Pro plan is $16.99 a month with 3 analyses a month, and Annual is $129.99 a year with 3 analyses a month (36 a year). Extra analyses on either plan are $7.99 each. Your card is authorized at checkout and only charged when your report is delivered. Pro and Annual are billed when you subscribe, then renew automatically. Prices are shown again at checkout before you pay; checkout runs through Stripe, and we never see or store your card.
What if my video can't be analyzed?
Check your video against the filming guide first. If we fail to deliver your analysis, or it fails to process because of a fault in our systems: for a one-time Single report purchase, you're not charged — the hold on your card is released; we'll also re-run it if that can fix it. If you're on Pro or Annual, your credit is returned — the failed attempt doesn't use up an included analysis (Terms, section 6.4). If the footage itself limits what we can read, the report says so and leaves those parts out rather than guessing.
Can I get a refund?
If we fail to deliver your analysis or it fails because of a fault on our side: a one-time Single report purchase is never charged in the first place — the hold on your card is released, not refunded, since no money moved — and we'll re-run it if that can fix it; a Pro or Annual subscriber gets the credit back instead. Once a report has been delivered, a one-time analysis isn't refundable, except where the law in your area says otherwise (Terms, section 6.4). If something looks wrong in your report, email us anyway; we want to know.
How do I cancel a plan?
Any time, from your account page, or by emailing support@pickleswaps.com from the email on your account. Cancelling stops future charges; your plan runs to the end of the period you already paid for (Terms, section 6.3).
What do I need to film?
One phone, propped or clipped so it stays still, filmed from behind a baseline with the whole court in view. The part you want analyzed can be up to 20 minutes (you can trim a longer video when you upload), in an MP4, MOV, M4V or WebM file under 3 GB. The filming guide has a checklist.
It's doubles. How does it know which player is me?
You tell it. During upload you mark the court and tap yourself on a still frame. If the analysis can't keep track of you with enough confidence, it says so in the report instead of describing someone else's play.
How long does it take?
Usually about 45 minutes. You don't need to keep the page open; we email you when it's ready. We look into any analysis still running after 60 minutes. If yours has passed that, email support@pickleswaps.com with your report reference, or the email you used at checkout, so we can find your order.
How accurate is it?
We only show numbers your video can support, and we leave out anything we can't measure reliably from your footage. Court position is our strongest read. The details, including what we never claim, are on How Kitch IQ works.
What happens to my video?
We delete your original video within 8 days of your analysis finishing — usually as soon as it's done. Your report stays available for 90 days, then it's deleted too. If an upload is never completed, its video is deleted within 15 days of upload. Your report stays in your archive while your plan is active, and for 90 days after it ends. We don't use your video to train AI models unless you opt in separately. You can delete your account and data yourself at any time. The full details are in the Privacy Policy, section 4.
Rallywise
What does it cost?
Pickle's Challenge and a best-of-3 match at your level every day cost nothing, along with friend challenges and situations your coach sends you. No sign-up to play. A Rallywise membership adds full rounds at every level, with your history and trends.
What level should I pick?
Pick the one you play at. If you're unsure, start lower. You can change it any time. Levels 3.0, 3.5, 4.0 and 4.5 are ready today.
Is this a rating?
No. Rallywise measures decisions in the game, not your rating.
Where do the situations come from?
They're built from real coaching sources, and every answer comes with the coach's reason. How we check them.
Do I need an app?
No. It runs in your browser on phone or desktop. Apps for iOS and Android are on the way.
Can my coach send me situations?
Yes. Coaches can share a situation by link. Their students play with no sign-up and no charge, and nothing about them is collected.
What does Rallywise keep about me?
Playing without an account, your progress, badges and settings stay in your browser on that device and are never sent to us. When you play from a Kitch IQ report or signed in, your rounds, answers and progress are saved to your account so they follow you. They're deleted after 90 days without play (kept while you have an active Pro or Annual plan). It never asks your age. The details are in the Privacy Policy, section 4.2.
Paddle Selector
How does the Paddle Selector pick my paddles?
You answer five quick questions, and it ranks the 320 paddles we list on how well their specs fit how you play: power, hand speed, forgiveness, touch and spin, plus weight, shape, level and budget. Each pick says why it fits and what you give up. How the scores are worked out.
Do you get paid for the paddles it picks?
Some buy links earn us a commission, but commissions never affect the ranking: we test that changing which shops pay us leaves the picks exactly the same. More in our affiliate disclosure.
Is it free? Do I need an account?
It's free to use, with no sign-up. Your answers live in the page address, so you can share or come back to your picks.
Will my paddle be legal for tournaments?
From level 4.0 up, the Paddle Selector shows only paddles on USA Pickleball's approved list, and you can turn that off. For any paddle, check our USAP approval tracker, which links to USA Pickleball's own record.
I think a spec is wrong. What do I do?
Tell us at support@pickleswaps.com with the paddle's name. Specs come from each maker's listing and are checked against retailer listings, and we fix errors we can confirm.
